I can imagine, reminded me of Brother's comeback where all their popular tracks were remade so they could perform them live since they lost the original music without vocal and probably also wanted them re-released with a new singer.
Honestly I gives it a nice touch that the vocal isn't the original, think it sounds nice
Next up: make another remake of the infamous "rare" track "In Your Eyes"
